A fresh find in the Swiss Alps - a magnificent Quartz crystal comes to light. Fortunately, it was completely embedded in fissure clay and carefully recovered, and therefore remained undamaged. The sticky clay is quickly washed off at the top, but a tough coating of rusty brown iron oxides covers the sides of the crystal - now the question arises: how best to remove it.
